We Love the Recorder
Class 3 and 6 participated in the “We love the recorder” programme through the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre. The children learned powerful skills in observation and recorder techniques by watching Alicia practicing her solo pieces. They integrated with students from other schools, and learned technical skills in recording a musical piece. The performance pieces were learned in a very short time and required dedication and daily practice by the students. Students experienced the joy of delivering a musical piece to an audience and the thrill of the applause at the end.
