Rosie works for the International Union for Conservation of Nature and is affiliated with the University of New South Wales.  International illegal trade in wildlife is devastating iconic species such as  elephants and rhinos, as well as a host of lesser known plants and animals.    This is a global issue!                                   How should we respond?             Bans and enforcement on this trade raise their own set of challenges.  Can supporting indigenous and local communities help combat the problem? A conversation will follow.
