Class 3-4 Featherdale Excursion
Class 3-4 have been studying birds and especially the symbolism of birds. We have been thinking about doves as a symbol of hope, the mythical birds like the phoenix and also birds like the owl that represent wisdom. Last week we went to Featherdale Wildlife Park to have a look at some Australian birds and birds from the South Pacific Region. They are incredible! We did some keen observing and gathering information about some of the impressive birds we saw there. Back at school, the Cassowary was a source of inspiration for Remarius who painted this beautiful picture.
