The Sizzle, Simmer and Swap
Have you ever made a big batch of food because it’s easier, but then had to eat the same meal four days in a row?
Well, the Sizzle, Simmer and Swap concept is similar, but has a DELICIOUS twist!
19th July 2024 – 12pm to 5pm at Kindlehill
This parent-led initiative will see many families from school come together to batch cook, then we will all share dishes. So while you only cook once, you’ll enjoy the many flavours of the community.
Here’s how it works
- Gather the ingredients for your signature dish.
- The more you cook, the more you’ll take home
- Bring along your raw ingredients, a camp cooker and large pot
- If you don’t have a cooker, but want to join, we’ll have a few to lend.
- Cook a MASSIVE batch of your meal, divide and swap with others.
- Enjoy a diverse selection of homemade meals without the hassle of repetitive cooking.
- So, find the lids to those Tupperwares and dig out your biggest pot so we can enjoy cooking together and tasting each other’s food throughout the week!
