Commemorating Peace Day
Last Monday, Sayoko guided us in a beautiful remembrance of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and the and impacts of the atomic bombs. Class 10 students opened with Taiko drumming and Haiku, followed by Sayoko’s beautiful story of how through adversity the peace tree grows stronger and is now growing around the world. Lovely singing and cake followed.
