Class 9-10 Crowdy Bay Camp

Big weather events across the state meant our second big Class 9 – 10 camp of the year was contained to the least rainy corner of NSW – Crowdy Bay National Park. There was rain but also plenty of sunshine, and our mountain students relished the chance to camp by the ocean. We surfed, paddled, and walked this beautiful coastal environment while learning the geography and indigenous culture of place.

Come the evenings; pass the guitar, find a harmony, tell a story, brave a sensory silent walk to the beach, reflect on the day, were all done with wonderful camaraderie as this Class comes toward the end of its journey together through High School.

Adventure, learning in place and cultivating social feeling, were the three intentions of this camp. No boxes to tick but real life, whole being learning.
