{"id":14535,"date":"2026-01-28T13:21:00","date_gmt":"2026-01-28T02:21:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/khpost.test.pallasmarketing.com\/?p=14535"},"modified":"2026-01-28T13:21:00","modified_gmt":"2026-01-28T02:21:00","slug":"kindlehill-fair-saturday-28th-march","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/khpost.test.pallasmarketing.com\/?p=14535","title":{"rendered":"Kindlehill Fair, Saturday\u00a028th March\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the&nbsp;28<sup>th&nbsp;<\/sup>March, 2026 we will be hosting the Kindlehill Fair previously known as our Autumn Fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why the name change?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The four-season calendar comes from European traditions, and as our understanding deepens, we have been learning from the seasonal knowledge of the Dharug and Gundungurra peoples. In acknowledging this, we felt it was the right time to move away from the term&nbsp;<em>Autumn<\/em>&nbsp;and choose language that better reflects Country and place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, looking to the future we wanted to build in some flexibility about when we could hold our Fair Days and by changing the name it doesn\u2019t uniquely place it at a specific time of the year.<br>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How You Can Get Involved<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year there are plenty of places you can offer assistance to support the success of our Fair.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Class 3-4<\/strong> will be running the food \u2013 we\u2019re well known for our delicious and affordable lunches! If you would like to help, please contact S\u2019haila at <a href=\"mailto:shaila@kindlehill.nsw.edu.au\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">shaila@kindlehill.nsw.edu.au<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>High School Students<\/strong> will be running the caf\u00e9 \u2013 making hot drinks and selling homemade treats. Start baking and preparing for our usual fantastic Caf\u00e9 offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will be a<strong> Market<\/strong> similar to the Twilight Market for families and friends of Kindlehill to share with the community their products and handmade beauties.
