From<strong> <\/strong>Sunday the 15<sup>th<\/sup> of June to Sunday the 22<sup>nd\u00a0<\/sup>of June<strong>, <\/strong>why not make the conscious decision to put away the screens?<br><br>It is tricky, I know, especially when there are days to organise and emails to check. Try keeping these to a minimum, it\u2019s amazing to see that the world keeps turning!!<br><br>Our children are becoming exposed to screens from an earlier age. Did you know that by the teenage years, up to 40% of a child\u2019s waking time is spent in front of a screen! What?<br><br><strong>Here are five reasons why your children would benefit from Screen-Free Week:<\/strong><br><strong>1. It gives their brains a break.<\/strong><br><strong>2. It helps your family reset priorities and connections.<\/strong><br><strong>3. It provides children time to explore other interests.<\/strong><br><strong>4. It helps children rediscover what real play is. Even older children need to time to be free and play or create, with their imagination free of external ideas and options.<\/strong><br><strong>5.
