We use this day to educate ourselves and others and to start conversations about racism.<br><br>We did a survey of our High School, we asked: \u201cHave you ever seen or experienced racism.\u201d About 95% of the High School said they had either experienced or witnessed racism.<br><br>We were then asked, \u201cDo you confidently know what to do if you witness or experience racism.\u201d About 60% said no. We were then asked, \u201cHave you ever stood up against racism?\u201d About 90% of people said, yes.<br><br>This tells us that a lot of people may not know what to do, but they have tried to do something. Even a little thing, like not laughing at a joke or saying, that\u2019s not ok.
